Dining FAQs
You can find good food and even exceptional restaurants at Disney even if it may feel like a diamond in the rough. See below for guidance on where to make reservations or drop in for a great dining experience.
Which restaurant would you recommend for…
DINING AT DISNEYLAND PARK?
Disneyland has LOTS of great casual options. Our favorites include Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Tiki Juice Bar in Adventureland, and Mint Julep Bar (Warning: it’s a misnomer, no alcohol here). Tiana’s Palace has recently opened and is absolutely precious. If you are looking for characters, try the Plaza Inn for breakfast on Main Street, U.S.A.
DINING AT DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE?
Craving a good dog? Head to Corn Dog Castle in Paradise Gardens Park or Angry Dogs in Pixar Pier. Lamplight Lounge, also in Pixar Pier, provides a nice, full service option. In Cars Land, Cozy Cone Motel and Flo’s V8 Cafe are both so well themed. Lucky Fortune in the newly revamped San Fransokyo Square is another favorite. For dessert, opt for Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream.
DINING AT DOWNTOWN DISNEY AND THE RESORTS?
No tickets need for these excellent food options. Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa is by far the nicest and most acclaimed on property if looking for a celebratory meal. If you can’t get in Napa Rose, check out GCH Craftsman Bar located poolside at the same resort. I love this place! Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes and Ballast Point Bar & Grill are both recommended for a more casual atmosphere in Downtown Disney. Naples Ristorante e Bar has a great outdoor bar and cocktail menu - and fantastic pizza.
